Berlin, Chapter 3 – “Drawing”

“Drawing is the root of everything.”
— Van Gogh

The reason why these drawings matter here is not that I want to present Helmut Schmidt or Peter Lustig on this blog.

The reason is something else entirely:

To inform certain characters in this country that it takes me about 10–15 minutes to make a drawing like this — for example while sitting in a bar somewhere in Berlin-Mitte.

And that with drawings like these, in some bars in Berlin,
I can literally pay the beer coaster.
What I mean is: I can do this — because I can.
I can sit in Berlin, get drunk, and pay with a scribbled sketch,

while being a 100% sanctioned “refuser,”
officially broke.

Can you do that?
Go on then — explain yourself publicly,
you loudmouthed, cocaine-sniffing little German office clown with your ridiculous job title.
